Technical Design Process

Initial notes from the first read through, brainstorming looks and needs by the location and environment of the scenes.

First drafts of a light plot done during the first production meeting in collaboration with the director, technical directors, and scenic team.

The set was pushed downstage, with a deck built in front of the lip of the stage, so a bulk of the organization was to fgure out face light and areas, as well as some sidelight.

The set also consisted of a tarp hung at the midstage batten, so the cyc lights would also be turned around to light the tarp from the back. There would also be sidelight and specials within the house to be able to add dynamic looks to the deck in front of the stage.
