Notes from the first production meeting, discussed inspiration and began working on an inspiration board for lighting.
Inspiration Board, detailing UGC and Amenity look; musical numbers would be very sharp and theatrical.
Planning out the patching of the second universe which would be used for movers, sidelight, and haze. The patching involved moving certain lights to the first universe and vice verse, putting addresses in sequential order so as to not waste any space, and patching sidelight in a way that would be grouped together and easy to remember.
Here is also a rough sketch of these instruments' placements both on stage and within the house. This was used as a reference while hanging and focusing these lights to make it a more efficient process.
Areas were assigned different colors so that my assistant could focus while I worked on sidelight and cabling.
A list of all numbers needed to be programmed as well as notes taken after programming to be editted. This helped visualize the workload as the process continued.
Schedules were made to program after making notes within the script of cues, looks, and effects that would go with certain beats and lines.
Final draft of light plot, used as reference for hang and focus. The patching was scheduled to change after hang and focus had been finished and is as such not included.
